I opened Forever Yours Tattoos in 1994 in Ramsey MN and in 2000 I opened the Velvet Grip in Hollywood CA. Owning a shop in Hollywood was quite the adventure but in the end I closed it 5 years later. Forever Yours Tattoos I closed after 25 years, took a year off to take care of some personal business and then began a 6 year run at Ink Kings Tattoo in Otsego. I now find myself at Cream City Tattoo and on to another adventure. The last location I had for FYT I built as a retirement shop for myself having one side for art in other mediums and the other for tattooing but found the same problem many single artist studios face and that is the lack of other artists inspiring me daily. I’m super excited to work with all the talented artists here at Cream City Tattoo.

The style that I enjoy doing is color wildlife, floral and landscape art with an illustrative touch, black and grey and I also excel at coverup work. Over my 30+ year career I found myself wanting to be a well rounded artist and can do most popular styles you see being done today. I love doing detail work but I am not a fan of the current trend of ultra fineline so I leave that for my coworkers that specialize in it.
